i love the very first line most, "Above all, trust in the slow work of God"
he simply declares it, like a pope.

but upon more serious reflection, the middle part really resonate with me,

"Don't try to force them on, as though you could be today what time (that is to say, grace and circumstances acting on your own good will) will make of you tomorrow."

that sentence is my favorite too. i think it is a great description of time, and how our lives take shape within it.

yay! that's great news. My current teacher is at Longy so I am up their quite a bit. Boston is a great place to be a young singer.
