1. Wash not being dead. Sure, he's rationalised it by saying that the Director brought Wash to life so that the Serenity crew don't try to escape, but that's not the point! Simon underneath all the intellectualism is going ":DDDD he's not dead~" ...which is a strange mental picture.

2. The fact that everything at camp has a happy ever after. When monsters attack, everyone is treated and lives, people's major emotional turmoil come from relationships rather than governments oppressing people and that life seems to be far ...happier and safe at camp than it is at home.

3. The Alliance hasn't found him in a year. He hopes, secretly, that maybe the Operative was right, maybe the Alliance has exonerated he and River and that they're no longer fugitives. It's sad but true ( ... )

Everyone because you are all psychotic and he needs to keep her safe.

Okay, really?

1. ...most of the Shinigami, before he's had a talk to them and to her about how if anyone hurts his baby sister, he will stab people in the face. This so counts as one. Except for the alive Shinigami, they don't count.

2. The cannibals. She might try and kill them, they'll kill and eat her and life will suck.

3. Snake. River needs no more help in sneaking around. Not to mention, Simon has enough problems with River innabox already without her doing it voluntarily.

4. Luke Skywalker. Simon does not want River to learn the secrets of the Force. While she would be the most badass Jedi in the history of ever, the idea of her with a lightsaber frightens him.

5. Filif. Simon has no idea how she will react to a talking tree.

Dunno a lot about headache medications, so I interpreted it as being five headache remedies.

1. Lots and lots of Paracetamol. You wouldn't know it, but he probably rivals the gay lawyers in regards to how much he takes. He's just learned to be subtle.

2. Going down to the onsen after everyone else has gone and using that to relieve stress.

3. Having a nap. He likes naps! He just never gets to have one. D:

4. Gritting his teeth and dealing with it.

5. ...and I can't think of a fifth. F-fail.

1. When all's said and done, he actually loves Momoko.

2. He's athletic.

3. He's better than she could have expected - he could have attacked Momoko at any time, and never did.

4. His mother likes him.

5. He doesn't admire his father for what he did.

1. Initially freak out about the Rebel Alliance until he realises that no, they really aren't the predecessors to the Alliance.

2. Get kicked upside the head by River as she drags him off to Yavin 4 so she can learn about how to be a kickass ninja.

3. While waiting for River to learn how to kill people with her mind, learn all the medical techniques in that universe. Contemplate improving bacta, as the idea kinda skeeves him.

4. Be utterly bewildered by the existance of aliens.

5. Stand in a crowded market place for hours and know that he's not going to be arrested.
