Thanks for posting Kenny's vid! You've been talking about him forever, but I had to pretend in my head what he sounded like. I'd buy his music!

That being said, I don't listen to a ton a male musicians (of the sort that aren't in a band). Scrolling through my Itunes list, and based on most played stuffs, my answer to this has to be Bob Seger. And that makes a certain amount of sense. A close 2nd would be Eddie Vedder, if I was just going by voices that make me shiver.

You're welcome! I wish I'd known him when you lived in CO, so we could have gone to a shower.

I honestly cannot think of a Bob Seger song off the top of my head... link video? And Eddie Vedder has done solo stuff, so we'll count him as a singer-not-in-a-band. ;D

Bob Seger - Like a Rock (think oooold Chevy truck commercials), he originally wrote "Turn the Page" that Metallica often gets credited for, Old Time Rock and Roll (the underwear dance scene Tom Cruise does in Risky Business).

You'll have to YouTube him. (I'm on a campus computer and it won't let me get there).

Speech is song; and LC is my favorite (if I had to put more emphasis into lyrics, it's Nick Cave)

Note: Tori does a version of "Famous Blue Raincoat" worth finding.

It's funny... Tori's version of FBR was the first Cohen song I heard, back when I was a fledgeling little riotgrrl in the 90's. I decided to look up the original, and the rest is history!
