Found out not-so-long ago that a dear friend of mine has AIDS. Haven't had much to say about it, as it's hard for me to imagine that the world will continue to spin without him. I'm stepping out of doom-and-gloom mode and into action; haven't done an AIDS walk in what feels like forever. NYC, here I come: Read more... )

I can only IMAGINE how painful it must be to know someone you care about has such a horrible sickness! *big hugs* I couldn't imagine going through that. An AIDS walk would definatly be so wonderful though!

I did AIDS WALK Atlanta several years in a row and <3ed it. I'm psyched to get back out there again. Making a difference is a wonderful feeling and this year will be especially meaningful.

Trying to get to bed early tonight. Not sure if I'll be up, but say howdy to your mum from me. ;o)
