My mom got approved for her mortgage today to buy Janet's house. So sometime within the next 3-5 months (I think), I'll be moving back to Waretown. But this time, I'll have a bedroom.

My new hard drive arrived and appears to be integrating itself into the system as we speak. I even got XP, so either someone screwed up or someone broke a rule, either way, neat. My next dispach should be from my own computer. Cross your fingers.

I've switched entirely to my gmail account for email. Please contact me if you did not receive the email or otherwise don't know my gmail address and would like it.

I realise I contradicted myself, I thought the CD I got in the first package was a media package reinstallation CD, turned out I have a "Media Experience" version of Windows XP, so it was, in fact, the disc I wanted.

So after finally getting my reinstallation cd from my mom in the mail (it was too big for the mail slot and Rhonda finally picked it up today) and spending hours on chat and the phone with tech support, I found out that my hard drive is busted and I'm getting a new one in the mail, probably within the week. Mom's pile of computer mail did not include a Windows reinstallation cd. So now I have to call Dell and talk to tech support forever and try to get them to send me a non-Vista Windows reinstallation cd.

Still on the dad's computer.

My computer contracted a nasty bug and now it won't even turn on, a startup file was corrupted. I have to wait until my mom gets the windows backup cd in the mail so I can reinstall it and actually turn my computer on again. And re-do alllllll of my settings. Laaaame.
