Aearlin & Silinde - The Begining - 07

A wince flicked across his fingers as he sat. Even with help, the area across his midsection flared in protest as he sat up. Water was sipped at - he didn't dare gulp just yet - and he felt the ache in his throat diminish somewhat. A clearer voice, though not fully healed, replied to the question posed. "Aye, orcs. It is the only reason I wish to ( Read more... )

Silinde nodded with a smile to the youngest of Elrond’s son. Though he was good friends with the twins, he still had great trouble telling them apart, and was glad for the introduction. Not wanting to interfere with the healers ministrations, the Mirkwood elf moved to the side, watching Elrohir poke and prod the ellon. Silinde could have left, but his curiosity got the better of him, so he stayed, and good thing too. Elrohir was ready to provide answers, and answers meant that Aearlin had questions, and that delighted the archer, for he would learn more about this mysterious elf.

Aearlin gave a slight nod at the idea of questions. Indeed, he had them. Such as... "Can I take a bath without destroying the work you just did?" Ah, so there was no hint as to his past in his questions. At least, not that one. Elrohir smiled slightly and nodded ( ... )

He was intently listening to questions, which were reasonable given the circumstances, but not interesting to the blonde. It told him nothing about this exotic ellon, and so Silinde started to tune out the conversation, and instead try to come up with his own explanations. Elrohir accepted the scroll, glancing between the two blond elves before him, nodding softly. The scene had reminded him of *his* two blond elves -- and his need to get back to them soon. Though - he could spare a trip to his father first. "Of course," he replied gently, then nodded in the direction of the baths. "Just remember - take things slowly, and try not to pop those stitches... I don't want to have to stitch you up again if it can be helped!" The waxen salve he could re-apply with no protest, but Elrohir did not like the idea of puncturing flesh any more than he had to ( ... )

Aearlin gave a slight nod at the mention that Silinde was ready to aid him, and very carefully moved his legs over to the side of the bed, trying his best not to move his stomach if he could help it. Fire flared in his midsection again - his minute motions making tiny pulls at the stitches in his midsection. Still, he continued - stubborn as he was. "I think the worst will be actually standing, really..." and so he waited for some assistance for that, relying heavily on the other's support as he shuffled onto his own feet - making sure that the sheets given to him to cover his form were still secured around him as he did so. Sheets may not be tunics, but ... they would suffice for now.

"... Which way might the baths be?" A sheepish smile was given, but .. he was very glad to be around the other elf. The assistance was most definitely needed.
