IDemyx looks at Conan like a little brother. He views him as someone wide-eyed and filled with questions. A lot of questions. Still, for someone to asks so much, he seems to know way more than he should for his age. This makes Demyx vaguely suspicious that he isn't who he says he is. But Demyx isn't the kind of person to press into someone's personal life. If something is amiss, he'll know about it eventually. Why bother going through all the effort if he doesn't want him to know something?
He enjoys the fact that Conan includes him in investigating the many "mysteries" in Ruby City. Like everyone else he knows, he believes that Conan underestimates his own intelligence. He is often annoyed by Conan trying to explain everything to him, usually using so many big words in rapid succession that he loses track of the conversation. Demyx is smart, but he's also pretty spacey so information doesn't stick very well. His constant questioning also makes him wonder if he's secretly plotting something against him, like some kind of demon child. But Demmy still loves the evil conspiracy demon child like a little brother.

Rikku was the first person Demyx met when he came to Ruby City, and he instantly felt a bond. He isn't entirely sure why, but he views her as a kindred spirit, but at the same time, she's almost the exact opposite. While he is quiet and lazy, Rikku has such charisma and technical skill that it honestly makes him jealous. She's the kind of girl that makes Demyx wish he had a heart to give away. It is safe to say that almost everything he has put effort into since coming to Ruby City was to get her attention, from growing the flowers from studying at the library. Unfortunately, Demyx looks at himself as a monster, unworthy of pursuing her. After getting shot down from the dance, he has sort of shied away from her. He feels she would be happier without him around.

Demyx has really mixed feelings about Roxas. For one, he betrayed the Organization and became his number one threat to becoming complete. At the same time, he seems just as confused about life at Ruby City as he is. Because they share a lot of the same friends, Demyx feels he is being forced more and more to befriend him. The sad thing is: it's working.
He's a little bugged with the way Roxas is acting. He's so full of anger that he has a hard time believing he's the same guy he used to work with. It had gotten to the point where he had to drop his persona to deal with the kid. That's bad news for everyone. Still, he's starting to slowly cool off over time. He hopes that Roxas will eventually find the stick shoved up his butt and promptly remove it. For the time being, he's just going to enjoy being clueless with another angsty blonde Nobody.

Demyx honestly has no idea who she is, but it doesn't seem like many other people do either, so it's alright. At first he thought she was totally nuts; just some random girl in a black coat claiming to be a member of the Organization. But as time went on, he started to believe that she really was who she said she was. Maybe old memories started to awaken the more he saw her. Maybe he just got tired of second-guessing her. Either way, he's starting to slowly trust her more and more. He just wishes she would get out of her shell and contribute a bit more to the conversation. She was a sweet girl, but sometimes he felt like he got more dialog out of his sitar.

Let's get one thing straight: Demyx is terrified of Larxene. Every memory he has of her is filled with either physical or emotional pain, or a combination of the two. If he had the chance, he would have nothing to do with the girl, but she seems to dead set on tormenting him that he has no choice but to accept it as part of his life. Still, he feels oddly connected with her. They are both Nobodies, and share the same flaws, and yet she approaches it with the exact opposite view. While Demyx dreads his lack of heart, Larxene seems to love it. No matter how much he hates her, he is intrigued with how she acts. Call him stupid, sure, but there will always be a part of him that wants to be her friend.

Demyx thinks Alice is one of the cutest things on the planet. He doesn't always understand her almost animal-like way of approaching situations. Still, he recognizes her kind heart and really appreciates it. Sure, him constantly teasing her has led to him getting his butt whipped on more than one occasion, he realizes that he steps over the line and has it coming. Ultimately, he quietly regards her as one of his best friends.
