Anakin was in his office with Christopher today (Rory was home sleeping off an election-related caffeine crash).

He was a little disappointed not to see the elephants and donkeys around any more: they would have kept the baby entertained for a while.

But then, Anakin reflected as he watched his son, Chris's own fists kept him entertained well

"And here I was going to apologize for apparently stealing your kid," Jaina said from the doorway.

"And getting me shot at your wedding?" Anakin added.

"I didn't get you shot. You should have ducked. I got shot too, you know," she pointed out. "Coma and everything here."

"I'm glad you got better," Anakin said. "Please don't steal my son next time."

He frowned. "I've said stranger things, but none that spring immediately to mind."
