Hotel Room at the Arms [morning]

Because of the election, Anakin and Rory hadn't gotten a chance to celebrate her birthday together, so they'd gone to dinner and then gotten a hotel room where they could celebrate being kid-free for a night.

Rory cracked an eyelid. "Make it stooooooooooooooooooop, Anakin."

"Working on it," Anakin mumbled, flailing some more and finally managing to physically knock it to the ground.

Where it kept beeping because this was Satan's alarm clock.

Rory grumpily flailed a hand out at it herself, her eyes firmly shut as she wished it'd just stop.

What happened instead was that the clock flew across the room and smashed into the wall, where it...stopped beeping.

So that was new.
