Anakin wasn't hiding in his office. He wasn't sulking, either. He was brooding. It was an entirely different vibe! He left the door slightly open and sat there with the lesson plan and a cup of black coffee.

Which he enjoyed. Really.

Peridot was basically a full day late to this party but NEENER BOO BOO LOOK AT ME PING ANYWAY wandering again. But she was wandering with a purpose, having actually managed to keep the days of the Earth week straight in her head, because The Skywalker had mentioned that Tuesdays were his office days, and there was that little matter of the situation from class that Peridot was keen on clearing up.

She hated when she opened her mouth and immediately ended up sticking her gravity connector in there, but her grasp on anything outside of Gem society was still tentative at best. And, well, that first Ethics lesson had been a tense one.

Congratulations, Anakin. You now had an ominous triangle peering in your office doorway.

"Come in, Peridot," Anakin said, waving the door open wider with the Force.

Peridot gave the door a curious look, but stepped into the room, clearing her throat as she did so. Things moving on their own didn't tend to throw her, so much. After all, her fingers weren't even attached to her hand.

"Professor," she said, giving her head a small nod. "I have questions pertaining to my misstep during the first Ethics lesson."

Most people at least said hello, 'Dot.
