School is underway--wahoo! Actually, I'm relatively entertained by my classes, all of which are withing my major: Soviet history, Russian Phonetics, Intermed. Russian Grammar, and Russian Folklore. I love my major more every day. I don't know why.

According to my advisor in the Russian dept at Bowdoin, this is a common phenomenon among students and Slavicists in general. We all love it -- but heaven only knows what makes us crazy enough to study it. ;)
