the shallow end

Right up front, I am not claiming to be Albert Einstein's successor. However I was over at the mall today along with a zillion people here for the state girl's basketball tournaments. Watching some of the groups wandering around makes you wonder, if the gene pool in parts of the state is just a little to shallow to be swimming in.

My folks get that same idea when watching people make change with the registers the first time the coins don't pop out by themselves :)

You should see some of them strain their cranium counting out the correct change :)

It's become an epidemic! The part of it that I truly hate is that you can sometimes see a child with a spark of intelligence in their eyes and short of kidnapping the child, you know that they'll grow up to be just like good old mum and dad

I run into too many of these people on a daily basis. They must be breeding faster than rabbits.

It gets better. Today at work we had a guy in who couldn't even understand basic directions about what he had to do to get a GED book. He has no fixed address. Later he came up and wanted to know how to contact local sperm banks to sell sperm. It was all I could do to say, "No one in their right mind would pay good money for your sperm. Sorry your life isn't going well. Hope it gets better, but this is not your revenue stream"

Oh my! You meet all kinds!

I do know what you mean though. I wonder sometimes why some people are allowed to breed. ;)
