My daughter was sitting in the backseat of the car yesterday and I realized that she knows the words to Kinks songs. In her chirpy four year old voice came "I got a big fat mama trying to break me, hmmmm Live this life of luxury" And she knows more of the song and can sing it when the radio doesn't play. This is one more reason I don't have kids. LOL

Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If those are the worst things she hears and picks up, I think she, and you, will be just fine!

When mine were small, I used to play "The Radha Krishna Temple" a lot (George Harrison & Krishna people, really cool!) not because I was one, but because I like it. Anyway, Cat & Libby sang along, usually getting the words close if not correct - except for the line "Gopal a jaya jaya" which Cat insisted was "Go 'pologize to a giant".

I know a little girl who is addicted to "Stray Cat Strut", makes her dad play it over & over.

She sang I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts yesterday at preschool, but figure that would get me in less parenting trouble than Lou Reed. LOL

I think you'd make a great parent, TIL!
