I had a patron come in the library. She wanted to know if we had books of family crests. I said yes, but that without doing research having the same name didn't mean it was your crest. We didn't find anything ( Read more... )

And you weren't a kid when you chose it, you have some concept of being stuck with it.

I love how they all think they're being so original and yet when you see a group of girls in midriff tops it looks like they all got matching tattoos on their lower back. LOL

I know what you mean. Mine is usually covered unless my shirt rides up. I don't wear to many midriff tops. As long as Tom doesn't do the laundry my shirts fit. Mine was custom made to match my husbands tattoo. I wasn't willing to put any names on my body.

My favourite idiot tattoo is a young man, probably 19-20. He had his entire face done in a polynesian tattoo. It was beautiful, but what is he going to do when he needs a job.

I don't know if I could ever committ to something that permanent. I don't understand the tattoo on the small of your back. If I went through all the pain, I'd want to be able to look at easily. :)

Without going into my whole philosophy on tattooing - the short story is, if they're dumb enough to get something like a 'family crest' pulled off the web, or an incorrect Asian phrase permanently applied to their body...then they deserve to live with it as a badge of stupidity for the rest of their life.

Your tattoos are fab and have meaning. She was in with her it might be my family crest today and it wasn't even well done. sigh

Even my tattoo can't make up for the inherent unsexiness of coughing my brains out. Still evaluating whether or not Cassie will be safe from infection if I go to see her today.
