Mark's noticed Misha's interest in Jen. Really, Mark wonders how no one else has, but he assumes it must be that special kind of blindness the straight world has to flirting between men. It's called bromance or belittled further into 'pranks' or playing it gay for a laugh, and everyone buys into it so completely that when feelings are real, they often get missed ( ... )

Misha hadn't actually gotten started when that knock on his trailer door came. He'd just found himself a perfect position on the bed, with a pillow under his hips, and even though he doesn't want to, it's easy enough to slip off his bed and get to the door. There's a brief debate between hurriedly trying to change into something else, but he doesn't expect it to be anything important enough to warrant extended conversation, and it's not as if Misha has made any secret of the fact that he crossdresses sometimes. Probably just a script change for the next episode. He'd been having words with Sera over it, and hopefully things would come out better next revision. Mark had sort of expected to hear something about karma and the universe, but what had happened earlier wasn't the sort of thing he imagined could easily be shrugged off and left to the cosmos. The look on Misha's face as Jen just had not gotten what he was trying for - or worse, wasn't interested and was playing dumb to avoid dealing with his friend's feelings - had made it clear that this one had hurt. He could see that now, around the edges. Misha looked sad behind the smile, and Mark had the sudden urge to pull him into a hug, but resisted ( ... )

If Misha hadn't already been flushed out of embarrassment, that offer likely would have colored his face anyway. He cocks his head to the side, teeth biting at his lips, and there's a pause where he's nervous and uncertain, but definitely thinking about it. Because Mark is certainly attractive, someone that he's noticed, even with his puppy crush on Jen. How can he not, with the sort of scenes they've had together? It isn't a no, not really, because Misha does want this, does like the thought of Mark touching him, warm hands on his skin. Even if it's just sex, just a distraction, just something to feel good, that's enough, something to soothe the ache of his heart. Mark steps in closer, and his blue eyes flicker up to the other actor's darker eyes, that interest curving more pronounced across his face as the man edges into his personal space. He hasn't quite caught on that Mark intends for this to be more than just some offered assistance just yet, but he's more than willing to see just where things go from there.
