Back in December, 1992, the very smart kitten later to be named Leopold decided that once he was weaned he was coming to live with me. While I waited, I asked a vet tech friend for advice. "Get two," she said. As luck would have it, there was one unclaimed kitten left in the litter...

He was a wonderful cat. )

I am so sorry. My cat of 16 years died in April...I know exactly how you feel. My thoughts are with you. He was a beautiful cat.

I'm so sorry. I hope it's some small consolation that this happened fairly quickly. They both led the best lives a cat could ever hope to live with you. *hugs*

losing a pet is so hard... the last two dogs i had lived a long time, but the end was painful and hard to take, their deaths almost a relief not just to them, but to me. i havent been able to have a pet since...it was just too hard.

i aint ashamed to say that reading this entry, it brought tears into my eyes not just for your loss, but the loss of My 2 westies, which was...i dont even remember how long ago.

im so sorry for your loss kelly. im praying that it doesnt hit you too hard, and that the loss, while painful, will only bring about happy memories

im going to cry for a while now

Oh I am so very sorry.
I agree 100% with badriyaz that both Leo and Lego were loved beyond belief by you and Mom and those who had the joy of meeting and spending time with them.
*hugs* - you know Lego always has a very special place in my heart.
Call me if you need me - my cell is on. Let's talk soon - I won't call because you need time.

::HYGS:: I feel special to have met him. I know it's tough to lose a pet. I think it's why I haven't gotten one as an adult as it heart wrenching to lose my dog as a teen. Nothing I can say will make the wound heal...but know that many are feeling your pain. Hugs to mom too!
