I really have no idea how long it has been since last I posted. What I do know is that my sintax will certainly be off because I feel like I've been awake since Wednesday.

Thank you SOOOO much for the help with the move. I am sorry you got lost and ended up in traffic light hell, though. We have everything moved in (scrapped the 2nd trip Saturday night in favor of finishing everything Sunday morning/afternoon), but I'm facing the hell of unpacking all by my lonesome (er... and fitting our 2 bedroom place into essentially half or a third of a studio apt, which is more spatial orientation than I can handle, thank you).

I am surely looking forward to the possibility of hanging out with you and "writing" more often (we need to improve the writing to chatting ratio, at least every now and then), now that I live considerably closer to you. I've also figured out how to make a novel out of one of my short stories, though inspiration is fleeting, and when I DO have that moment of 'eureka!', I am always in a position that prevents me from writing at that moment. Figures.

Once again, thank you! You have no idea how much that meant to us!

I don't know about Jake and Elwood, but Duffy and Sputnik slept like the dead that night. It was fabulous. Spud slept from about 9 PM till 8 the next morning. We HAVE to get these four together again. And maybe next time, we'll make sure to have a camera. Amazing how they managed to play tug-of-war when the wood mulch scraps were only a couple of inches long!

Elwood and Jake, too, spent the next several hours sleeping. Pretty much as soon as I got them into the car they conked out! We should definitely get together again, and I promise to charge my camera battery next time!
