They called you back (finally)! Yay for that, at least!

About the doghouse... it may not be a bad idea. We built one for our malamute when he got older, especially because that winter was COLD and he was quite old. It was nice (and huge, because this was a 110 lb dog). The problem? No matter what the weather was doing, the dog Would. Not. Go. In. At all. Didn't matter if there was food in there, or blankets, or even a rib bone with meat still on it. So... weigh that before you spend too much on a dog house. Of course, yours are still young, so it might be possible to train them on that.

As for the lunch thing. You'd think by now that I'd make D's damn lunch the night before, but no. Totally with you there. Maybe now I will. We'll see just how that goes Sunday night.

Anyway, good luck with your training, and here's hoping most/all of those concerns don't end up being problems!

Argh. Knew I forgot something. Also, the writing thing. I wish you better luck on finishing yours than I'm having on my current one. I had an idea, and it was oddly fleshed out for me (one of my important towards-the-beginning scenes even played for me like a movie the other night, and then replayed with more detail and specific phrases for me to use), but I'm not so sure about it anymore. Don't know if it's something anyone would read. In the meantime, I'm editing someone else's 275 page novel so I don't have to think about why I'm scrapping my second one. We will still have to carve out wee bits of time to get together to do writing-related things.
