Did I do or say something to you that you decided to dismantle the entire Irish team all by yourself? Wow! Damn, man. :)
I cant tell you how pleased I am to hear how well you did. Gutted about the injury of course, but to me (ever the optimist) it just goes to show how good you will be once you're over your injuries. Fuckin' Deadly. :) And it's great to hear that Ireland beat the frogs. Yay! :)
>>>I've tried to do what I can in terms of doing analysis for the coach and captain from the sideline and do a bit of motivating. I just couldn't let this one slide without commenting: how deadly must it be to be receiving motivation from Si? W00T! How can your team lose? :)
Hope you recover at a good pace and this is the last of the injury trouble. :) Must start doing some excercising now myself. This beer belly is annoying me walking around with no shirt on all day here in Spain.
That is such a bummer about your Achilles tendon, Si. But you did score some tries and the squad is doing pretty well. And you gave it as good a go as you could. Take good care of yourself.
I had a similar experience -- broke my ankle (not badly, but bad enough) early in the season, went through crazy rehab, got back onto the court...and promptly fucked up the other ankle. Anyway, point is that every team member plays a role, and sometimes it's the gimp on the bench who provides the most motivation to kick ass and win.
*tries not to say anything about the importance of enthusiastic motivation* Sucks about your Achilles, though, but at least you got out on time, and you'll be able to play soon. And congratulations of being the queen of your debutante ball. :-)
