Yesterday, when a very quiet toddler, whose mother recently escaped her abusive spouse, (and who usually cries when he sees me) came over silently and sat in my lap, then leaned back into me and stayed there, holding his stuffed animal tightly.
You have no idea how huge that was. -
I Hate Ignorance.
I don't normally get into this stuff but I've heard too much ignorance lately not to say something about this. I've been following this for the last several years through Invisible Children and I'm baffled at how many people are ignorant of the LRA's 25-year war and what they have done to the Ugandan people.

Classic Scifi?
