The rates are better in the summer.

Going back to school tomorrow. Bittersweet? It'll be good to be back, but sometimes I worry about what I'm going back to.

People ought to say Oh fiddlesticks more often. When I was young, I learned to say it in lieu of fuck; I don't think I was the only one, either. Many of my friends said it...usually snidely, of course, as those crazy kids are ( Read more... )

Hahaha, there are so many times I want to yell something so obscene it'd make Jay-Z do a double-take, but then I have to reign it in because I'm around children or something. I usually end up saying "shoot" or "dang," but "potatoes" is much, much better.

That was going to be my second guess.

And I have two more years, too. Well, two and a half. I took time off.

(I think I know the feeling. All of my friends have this concrete plans. They know what they want to be; they're going places, doing things, etc. If necessary, they could leave school tomorrow and go out into the world and Do Something Real. Me...not as much.)

Sigh. I'm still here till the 16th. Ahh, the joys of the quarter system. Though somehow, summer is less fun with no friends around to enjoy it with....

Yeah, another one of my friends is on the quarter system. He always gets depressed around this time of the summer/autumn, because we've all gone back and he still has 2-3 weeks before his classes pick up again.

You're going to love it, though. School, I mean. No doubt in my mind.

Oh, Lovely, I wish you the best in the coming school year; study interesting things, meet interesting people, and have time to yourself (as it's what I wish for myself, as well).

I love the organized randomness of this post (and I love you)

I wish those things for you, as well. You are brilliant and beautiful, and deserve brilliant/beautiful things.

(Not as much as I love you!)
