If it would be possible to write a line of code that would "ping" LiveJournal in such a way so that when I update my weblog, it would also show my LiveJournal as being updated? . . . I mean I wouldn't actually be updating my LiveJournal - since it's kind of senseless to update 2 things - but I figure there are some people who just use their friends ( Read more... )

Check revjim's LJ, or his site (revjim.net). He does it that way, writes an entry on revjim.net and has LJ pull it from the RSS feed. He is also using MT on his site. The only thing is, I believe that you need a paid account to do so.

Yeah, that there is a way to do as a paid user. Someone has created a syndicated user of Kara's dreamwalk site: dreakwalk. There are others, such as slashdot is the main one I can remember.

yeah, I would almost consider paying, but:
1. they have that silly, huge "content disclaimer" around your posts
2. Apparently only other paid users can add your syndicated feed to their friends list - making it hugely less appealing, imho.
