Don't know what a thread is. Can't figure out how to post a picture or banner. Don't know why all my comments have a delete mark & no one else does

A thread is a string of comments, and subsequent replies... Ie.. if you reply to this, that is our discussion thread. Your comments have x's because you can delete them if you want. you can delet anyone elses (unless thay post them in your journal... then you can do what you want LOL

sixfullerst Thanks Steph! Feel more comfortable already. Will play with pictures, banners & such over the weekend. BTW, started Project 365 after seeing your post. Now, for the first time. . . ♥ Oh my! I previewed it & it worked!!! Thank you! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
The banner thing can be either easy or tricky depending on your layout... (I think this layout is one of the easier ones). You do that through http://www.livejournal.com/customize/
It's fun to play with these things, and helps your journal to feel more like home: A true reflection of you.
Stumbled across your lj and read the first post. Thought I would give you some tip's too!
You can post pictures in your posts and your comments if you want. The easiest way to do this is to first upload them to a host (or LJ's Scrapbook). One host that is very useful and common is www.photobucket.com - it's free and very user friendly. Once you have your image uploaded you can link it. In photobucket you get provided with a url link directly and to post it in your post or comment.
To do this you write: img src="http://XXXXXXXXXX" (exchange the http://XXX thing with the url to your picture between the quotation marks) in between < > - just like the lj-user tags!
Thank you so much! I keep thinking that I'll work on the look of my journal but start reading fics & nothing gets done. Your comment has inspired me to try again. I'd just looked at your journal after one of your recent comments made me smile. Love your header & the seasonal pics. May I friend you? Thanks again for taking time to comment & help.
