My friends were legally married this afternoon.  In a real church with a pastor, communion & everything!

A mini ramble under the cut because they were beautiful, it was beautiful and I just need to document the day.

This made me teary. I feel so strongly that all people have a right to marry who they love. Marriage is not for everyone. I am very happy for your friends.

I love that Jerry Brown has changed the wording in Prop 8 to state that to vote yes would take away the right to marry. Citizens aren't quite as comfortable taking away rights from other citizens. I hope. At least it is being honest about what is going on.

Sounds like you understand completely, Cindy. I teared up when they were looking at each other saying their vows -- I don't understand how anyone could take a stand against love. And yes, Jerry Brown did good! *hugs*
