This morning I heard that squeaky meow that I've been missing so much. I ran to the door & there she was! You all were right, she was very close. Is the neighbour a little chagrined for not checking the laundry room?
How is Annie? Hungry? Happy? Thrilled to have survived a stranger's laundry room?
I'm so glad!!
*HUGS all around*

She's good. Very thirsty, but good. Sneezing a little bit, too. I'll have to keep an eye on her. Been home for an hour but unable/unwilling move her off my lap to get to the computer.
She's all cuddlely & sweet. I'm so happy, Thank you so much for your good thoughts.
*hugs you & jumps up & down some more*

Guess she didn't run off in search of Mubblechen after all. Seriously, your story of your cat ending up in the neighbor's basement made me believe she was okay. Thank you so much, Alex.

She told me that she didn't run off to try to meet Mubblechen. She just wanted to have a look in this little room, there was two machine things in there & one was really warm. She thought she'd just have a little nap but after her nap she couldn't get out the way she got in.
She's sleeping on my feet right now. I'm so happy. Thank you again for all your good wishes. *hugs*
