Thank You!

Having trouble trying to find the proper words to express my gratitude for your good thoughts, prayers & reassuring comments during Annie's recent adventure. I am overwhelmed by your kindness & support. When I was too sad to think, your suggestions were incredibly helpful. You told me she was close by & she was. Thank you, too, for celebrating ( Read more... )

I hope Annie is none the worse for her little adventure and that you are enjoying lots of lovely cuddles with her. :D

She came through her adventure surprisingly well. She was a bit dehydrated but is doing fine now. We've cuddled so much! And, it's lovely to wake up at night with her weight against my back. Thanks for understanding and commenting. Do you have a cat?

We had a cat when I lived at home with my parents, and she lived to 18. She was beautiful. But later on I developed the worst allergy and being near cats or dogs induces asthma and swollen eyes. It's a great sadness. I hope one day to find the allergy has disappeared and I can enjoy the company of a cat again. Meanwhile I get enormous pleasure from the various felines owned by my LJ friends and all the funny stories they relate.

How lovely it must be to have Annie cuddled up to you at night. She must love you very much.

Hope your allergies go away someday, I just can't imagine life without critters. Yeah, the cuddling is pretty good:D Thanks for taking time to comment.

Main thing is, she's back and she's well! I was just on IM with friends when one of them said "OMG Annie is back!" - we were all overjoyed at the news, thank you for letting us know so quickly. :) I know how much the support I got from LJ friends meant when Mubblechen was sick, so I can really relate, they really are like our kids and it's terrible if something bad happens - but just as wonderful if things turn out well in the end. :D

Yes, they are like our kids, only better, much better:D She is still on me almost every moment that I'm home & I don't mind at all! Once again, thank for being there & being a good friend.

I guess I just didn't get that. My LJ friend's came through stronger than my RL friends in this case; it was very comforting.
♥ (you taught me how to make hearts when I first came to LJ.:D)

Honestly, my heart cracked a little when you posted that Annie was missing. I can't imagine my baby missing. It hurts too much to contemplate.

I was thrilled to hear that Annie was found and back home snuggling and happy.

How old is Annie? :)

"It hurts too much to contemplate. I know what you mean. Before all this happened, I was doing noses with her & said out loud, "I just don't know what I would do without you." In my crazier moments when she was missing, I felt like that had something to do with it all.

Hope you've given Kitty an extra cuddle for me. She's a beauty! Have you had her since she was a kitten?

When I got Annie from the Humane Society four years ago, the estimated her age at seven then but weren't entirely sure. She is certainly in full snuggle mode & I'm loving every moment.

I'm so pleased to have you as a friend. *hugs*

*hugs back*

As I said before, I wouldn't have even posted before I met you. I would not have known what amazing friends I have and I would have been even more miserable during Annie's adventure. You have brought a lot of people together. We like you a little bit:D
