Too funny! I had a truly sucky day today & came home to find Ashmedai tagged me to do a happiness meme. Just when I was perfecting bitchy:) Actually, it's perfect timing; there is much to be happy about.
1. About once a year, I have a truly crappy day. Today was it so it's clear sailing the rest of the year.
Sorry to hear about your crappy day. On the other hand, I love your optimism; with that attitude, I think you're bound to have good days from now on. :)
5. An 80 year old woman that has been taking my class since she was 75, did the full splits for the first time today\o/
That's amazing!!
I totally enjoyed your meme, thanks for playing along! :))
You're welcome. I really need to thank you for the tag. Without many exceptioms, every night I think of all the wonderful things that happened during the day. If not for your meme, tonight might have been one of those exceptions. My best friend had to put her cat to sleep. Bubbie (short for Bubba Louie) was 19 years old & had a very good life but it doesn't make it any easier.

Oh wow, I was sorry to hear that! It's always a horrible thing. I remember when I had to have the cat I had before Mubblechen put down, it was easily the hardest thing I've ever had to do, so I really sympathize. Our Mimi will be 19 next month, too. She's still healthy and bouncy, and we hope we can keep her a while yet. *knocks wood*
Wanted to tag you but thought with school & work, it might be too much. Hope you'll play, if you have time.
"I'm sorry you had such a bad day :/"
Thanks. As I said, I don't have many bad days for which I am very grateful.
"I just tried to imagine one of my grandmas doing the splits *giggles* No way! :"
I asked her if her daughter or grand kids knew she was close to doing them & she said no. Decided to take a picture & email it to her daughter with no explanation. I'm fairly certain they will be shocked & proud.
Hope you're finding time to have a bit of fun between work & school. Thanks for commenting.
School is over. It was just for two weeks. It was a great experience. So different from university and I met some really nice people. I miss seeing them every day and I'm sad it's over. I'll do the meme, but I doubt I'll post eight days in a row ;)

Haha, yeah. First shocked and then proud :D Who knows, maybe my grandmas are secretly doing splits, flic-flacs and other acrobatic stuff and I'll receive the pictures in my email some day. But then again.. none of my grandmas knows how to email, so :D
I meant, you had a bad day, but Alex inspired you to focus on the good things in your life. :)
My mom is 89 years old. Luckily, she's sharp as a whip. She has been living with my sister for two years, and it's been working out really well for both of them. They live 15 minutes from me.
I'm sad too about the approaching hot weather. You and I are living in the wrong climate, we should move up north or to England!

I'm intrigued though. What do you do for a living?

Aww, thanks! I'm just glad that it's over. The meme was perfect for helping me see all the good things that happened even on a difficult day:)

I teach yoga! It provides little money & no health insurance but it makes me very happy.

I bought ten stems of daffodils for $1.29 at Trader Joe's today. Daffodils sure bring spring into the house.
Poems, porn & magical tales that my friends post on LJ.
LOL, aren't our friends wonderful!
I'm glad you have a lovely mom, so do I. We're very lucky.

That's what I thought, but it was kind of nice. Made me focus on the good things.
I love Trader Joe's daffodils! This time of year, I try to buy them at least once a week. Yes, they definitely do bring spring into the house.
I'm glad that you have a good mom, too. Does she live here?
I think our rainy days are about to end. They just said triple digits by the weekend. That makes me sad.

I totally agree. Seattle sounds like heaven to me! England wouldn't be bad either.
Have a good weekend.
