An interesting point of view...

Winning gives birth to hostility.

Losing, one lies down in pain.

The calmed lie down with ease,

having set

winning & losing

aside.

The post that I took it from was quoting The Buddha. I liked it. I haven't read Sun Tzu but I have read the Tao Te Ching. Good stuff, for the most part. Some of it I struggled a bit with but I got 100% on the three papers I had to write so I guess I got a bit of it.

Exactly. He is able to lie down with ease because he has set the need to win and the worry of losing aside. He seeks only to fulfill his duty. I would submit that perhaps this view isn't limited to the warrior alone.

I love it. Once you set winning and losing aside you can start living.
Nice post :)

Thanks. :) I Imagine you saw where I got it from but there was so much else going on that I wanted to single it out for myself.

Here's to starting living, right?
