So next Sunday is the Oscars. Now I pretty much have a love/hate relationship with the yearly show. For one, I hate the hoopla that the celebrities get as they walk down the friggin carpet, soaking up camera exposure. I haven't watched the Oscars in a few years. I'm tempted to this year because Chris Rock is hosting. I haven't seen most of the movies that were nominated, but I look at other films I've seen the Best Actor/Actress nominees in, & decide who I think should win based on that. Usually, the people I want to win never do

Yeah, for best actor my vote is for Foxx. I watched 'Ray' for the second time the other day and I couldn't believe how he channeled Ray Charles. I haven't seen 'Hotel Rwanda' or 'Sideways' yet, but if Don Cheadle were to get the oscar I wouldnt be disappointed. Your right about Paul Giamatti though, its only a matter of time before he gets an oscar. Just another reason to hate the Academy (but not the show, I admit it, I love the Oscars).
