hehe. What happened to the emails in the first place? I agree that waiting and waiting wouldn't be such a great idea. So, have you guys decided on siblings or 2 unrelated kiddos? Is that in the works at all?
I don't think you're making a major leap there to assume that was why she was aking. What do you have left to do to be DTV (besides the I171h, I mean)? For the record, I never intended to be holding a referral for SO long... I really thought they'd have their license at the same time we finished our dossier and then it would go quickly from there... ha ha ha ha. Joke on me.
By the way, did you see the post on APV about VORF families who got referrals in January are traveling NEXT WEEK?!!!! Holy stinkin' cow. I knew this was going to happen, but it doesn't make it hurt any less.
The I-171H is it, basically. But it's the big one. It will be at least three months before it comes.
Aside from that, we still have to do the trivility stuff - passports, probably new health forms, new police clearances, new financials. We can't do those last three until later so they won't expire. If we end up preparing two dossiers to submit, then we need to doublecheck that we have four of everything. But really, we don't have anything but the I-171H and the passports (which we were going to do this week but didn't feel like rushing on).
I just read the VORF post and OMG, I'm sooooo excited! That is the SECOND group she is in - they are flying! This is totally in line with how I feel liek things will go in the future for all agencies.
Of COURSE you didn't intend to hold a referral this long. At the point you got your referral they were still saying licenses in 30 days, right? Who the heck knew it would be practically a year. So depressing. Jokes on you AND Zeeb :-(
