I want to hug him I want to shake his hand. I want to look him in the eye and tell him that he's made me dare to believe that things will get better.. and i'm not expecting it to happen tomorrow, but I believe that it will and I'm willing to do whatever I can to help. I will run into walls for this man at full speed.

I think what I love the most about this statement is the whole "I know you won't all agree with me, but this is what I believe, and actually that's not what's important, because there's a whole load of shit we can agree on, and we can put that right first". It's the combination of ideals and pragmatism..
