I have surprised myself

and signed up for the Deeply Horrible challenge. This is very odd of me because Bastard Snape and I don't get on. I think this might be because I consider myself a naturally nasty person, but I work very hard to keep the nasty under control.
Anything that might allow the vitriol free reign, well... it's a bit like the whiff of a bakery to a dieter ( Read more... )

deeply horrible

Yay! I'm still contemplating it (open till tomorrow right...?). I don't do bastard anyone so it'd be odd to write that. But 500 words sounds like a good way to challenge myself as a writer. But it looks like both of us would be out of comfort zone.
You and nasty? I haven't seen it. I think you're rather nice! :)

Mwahahaha! My cunning plan to keep the nasty hidden has totally worked! :o)

...and 500 words of nasty is workable I think. I hope!

*looks on in wonder* Oscar worthy acting for sure, if you're nasty, as you claim ;)

Ooh, I think I shall channel my inner nasty-to-the-sister feelings. I might just exceed 500 if I use that as inspiration ;) Hmm, shall take a look at the prompts left and see if I can work with any of them.

You? Nasty? Seriously? I'll have to take your word on that! ;)

I wasn't so sure about signing up for it either. I don't write bastard!Snape so well, nor do I do nasty in r/l so well either. So, it may be a bit of stretch for me but I figure I can squeeze out 500 words even if it is out of my comfort zone. Plus, I really loved some of the prompts.

Yes, some of the prompts were novel-worthy :o) You can do art you know. Funnily enough, although I am not a fan of reading utter bastard, I do like pictures where he is nasty and some of them are hysterical ( in a sick kind of way) :o)

Awesome! I can't wait to see what you and Bastard!Snape come up with.

There were so many deliciously tempting prompts, and I actually wrote down several I wanted to do, but the short deadline put the kybosh on it for me. I don't work well to very short deadlines unless it is Muse-driven, and I didn't want to let anyone down, but I will be there with feckin' bells on to read all the yummy Snape nastiness.

In the meantime, I did have a story idea come from it, so I will just write it in my own leisure time.

Have fun!

That's funny, I didn't think it was such a short deadline :o) But you would write something deliciously detailed and naughtily erotic, whereas I am just planning on 1000 max!

I was only planning on 500 words, but I'm already past 1,500 and am just brushing the surface. Dammit. And I'm not sure I'm quite getting the bastard angle, either . . .

Well, I had a little go and I got sexy!bastard rather than git!bastard. If I had kept going it would have turned into redeemable bastard and I don't think that is within the challenge's remit. I shall have to put my thinking cap on. :o)
