Alpha - ing is such fun
I have just read the last chapter of a fabulous SSHG exchange piece and oh, le sigh :o) It warmed my fluffy little heart it really did.
I am looking forward to this exchange so much I can hardly bear to think about it - sort of like getting excited for Christmas in October really - but hey, I do that too. Easy tiger!

Now I am off to knock back a celebratory sherry and then to lurk around the Firewhiskey site to have a good giggle at the offerings. -
Something I have learned
Getting sozzled and trying to write anything, doesn't really work. I had a fairly good idea and then the sherry (and the single malt) turned it into tripe.
I'm pretty sure that drunk writing does not excuse bad writing: silly spelling errors that are gigglesome sure, but awful pacing and trite dialogue is no-one's idea of fun. I am not sure I can ( Read more... ) -
The bastard thing isn't working

Yup. Bring back the Bastard is harder than I thought it would be so I am punting it off to one side and have registered my interest in Firewhiskey instead. Only it will be merlot instead of whiskey, but I'm sure you get the picture.
