i'm asian and i'm not offended. however you better not rag on my fried rice or spring rolls. ok, maybe the fried rice, but NOT the spring rolls. :)

anyhow, i know what you mean about the smell. it's something horrid, but i can't be sure if it was kimchi. it just makes me gag when i smell it. i smelt this thing on campus on the "asian" wing of the international students' dorm and it was dag-nasty. i've had kimchi before and it's fine. it's good sometimes.

i reco getting one of those odor-elimiting candle thingys. it's great. and you get your apt. smelling nice too.

hope your landlord fixes the problem soon. miss you!
