30/05/08 Ayabie - Berlin [EU tour]
Thursday 29/05 Okay, as you might have read before my day started off like crap. But when I went off to Eindhoven where we'd get onto the bus, it became even worse. Well, I met up with [info]kuukiichan at the station and we went to get some sushi before we'd pick up Nafa and get onto the bus. Time the bus was suppose to leave was 23:59. So we had to be there 30 minutes prior, and that caused Nafa to hurry and everything. I hurried off to pick her up from the station, ran back to the bus stop where more people had gathered, but still there was no bus. It went past twelve, and the bus to London and Paris had arrived, but still..No bus to Berlin. We got slightly pissed, when it was 1:00AM. It took them another half hour to arrive. Once we finally had claimed our spot, we couldn't fall asleep because we had no room for our legs. So after 30 minutes of sleep, I turned around again (Did the whole Kamasutra XD) and I ended up taking up 4 seats e_e;
Friday 30/05
We were all awake around 4:00AM again, because we were hungry. But the bus hadn't stopped ANYWHERE. Meanwhile I had to go to the toilet as well. We kept on joking, but in the end it wasn't even funny anymore. I became so tired I fell asleep in the oddest position possible, until we reached the station. RUSHED out to the toilets. God I never had been so happy.
Meanwhile [info]gankyuujelly kept me updated how many people were at the hall. 10 hours in a bus, with no sleep..I can tell you that's no fun. But..We were well prepared and knew exactly wich train we had to take to get to the hostel. Once we were there around 10:30AM we wanted to check in, but the lady was being awefully rude to us. She said we could get changed in the luggageroom because our room wasn't done yet. WTF.
Okay :T So we put our stuff there, got changed. Did our hair and makeup in the toilet wich kinda failed really hard and went off to the hall (After a lot of complaining by said woman) When we reached the hall, there weren't that many people there yet.
It took awhile before I saw [info]gankyuujelly and her friends XD. Time went by pretty fast while waiting. We managed to entertain ourselves with odd conversations about Jaap, Klaas, Hans, Toos etc XD Went to get some food too and then it started to become more full. I met up with [info]hyura, [info]xaoitsuki and my lovely husband [info]xsevenstars.
Everyone started to stand up about an hour before the doors would open, wich was slightly annoying but also because we weren't sure at what time the doors would open. Ah well, had a nice conversation with a guy next to me and my friends. Finally they opened the doors, and everyone started to push like mad. But I rushed inside, to Intetsu's/Takehito's side. I could see everything pretty clear, standing 2nd row. We lost Nafa because she stood at the other side. I felt really good with my friends by my side. After waiting for awhile (not that long actually) they started the intro.
First up was Kenzo. Looking lovely as ever. (Lol I don't have much to tell about this man, did you notice? XD Just that he was wearing ugly slippers? ;3) Next up was Takehito. I love that man! Haha, he looked great! Next person was Intetsu. Woa. My heart skipped a beat when he came on. His hair grew longer again and he looked GREAT! Next was Yumehito. In the green coat. I couldn't stop laughing, but that man can wear ANYTHING without looking stupid. And last but not least, Aoi. His hair didn't have the braids in them anymore, but he looked great. When the intro ended and everone came to the front, they started off.

Cubic [L/R]ock totally got the whole crowd going. Jumping, doing furi's ~ Everything. Once again the power of this band amazed me. The atmosphere was great. No pushing, no screaming..It was GREAT. The band seemed to enjoy every minute as well. Yumehito thought it was funny to climb on the box next to the stage, wich was cute. But when he got up he bumped his head really hard into the speaker that hung above his head. He made a little scene, but laughed it away. Same went for Intetsu, but he walked off rubbing his head, poor thing. When Aoi anounced they were going to play Hoshigaoka, tears appeared in my eyes. I really really love this song. Haha, I ended up in tears just...Listning. It was so beautiful to hear this song live and I am grateful they played it.
When Shine started, the whole crowd got hyped again. The band does these half turns to the left and back again. But Yumehito forgot it TWICE, causing Aoi to laugh the first time when he quickly recovered and turned, but the second time he looked like he was in dreamland. Aoi made a face, causing everyone to laugh and Yumehito seemed to feel a little stupid about it ~ Aww! The crowd also amazed Aoi by singing along with 君の声と約束. He went all quiet and shocked, it was such a nice surprise XD! The encore's were pretty amusing too. This band is full of crazy and adorable things.
After the last song, everyone ran around on stage. Kenzo managed to throw is waterbottle against one of the stagelights, causing a loud bang. They were all so nice, shaking hands and saying thank you and goodbye to us. I really didn't want this to end, but it did. I was lucky enough to catch Takehito's pick, and to leave with a very VERY happy and statisfied feeling. (I think this feeling beats drugs and whatnot XD) Last one to leave was Intetsu, bowing and waving. It all went by so fast, and once again I have to say that this band completely beats many other bands. The atmosphere, the strength of the band and the power. No matter how bad all these days before were, this made up for it. 100%.
So once I bought my merch and talked to Andrei a little bit I went outside where everyone was waiting. They were HUUUUNGRY XD so after waiting for a little while we went to Alexander Platz (wich is really nice in the evening) and had some Mc Donalds. We decided to meet up on Saturday to go sightseeing. We went back home, and eventually had to take a cab because our train wasn't driving anymore D: Cheap, but still.
Once back at the hostel, we still had to check in wich was a drama as well. The guy didn't know wich room we were in etc, and he started to help other people too. So in the end we had room 23, one for 4 persons instead of 3 with NO bathroom. Well that pissed me off. We had to share showers and toilets (Not that I mind but I booked a triple private + bathroom :T) so yeah. Showered, talked a little and went off to sleep.
Saturday 31/05
The beds were too small for me and Nafa, so we ended up having pain in our legs and everywhere XD. We decided to skip breakfast so we had more time to get ready. The cleaning lady appearently already tried to get into our room wich pissed us off again. Packed our bags and got on our way to meet up with Mina, who'd take us to her working place for breakfast. OOOH. And such delicious breakfast it was *----*~ Dayum. Next time in Berlin I am so going there again. After that we went to NeoTokyo where I accidently spend a little too much money on magazines (Oooh Mix Speaker's,Inc.!!!! <3 ~) So, once we got all that and met up with Saku and another friend of Mina we went to Alexander Platz again, to a shopping mall. It was SOOO huge!! I wanted to buy a t-shirt but didn't do so, instead we went to Starbucks and got a frappuchino. Moved back to the trainstation where we'd meet up with [info]xaoitsuki. We'd go to ehm..I forgot the name. BLABLA TOR? e_e;;;; But...When we were sitting in the bus, the first thing we saw was some..ZOMBIE meeting :T Demonstration. It was quite a funny sight XD! The next thing was some sort of parade, so we decided to go out and check what was going on. We also found the little shop where Dir en grey went two years back. Hugged the bear and all that. And then we got to the .. BLABLA TOR. Got our visa and then went on to the monument. It was really beautiful! Did some hide and seek there XD Wich resulted in very funny moments. Also getting stalked by asian people - HA HA XD We also went Potzdammer Platz, and saw pieces of the Wall. Checked it out before going to the Sony Centre for a drink. Once we got there, a fight started o___o. Seriously, why is there always trouble around me?! Nya. We got something to drink, helped out a bride XD and got food and drinks at 'Kaiser's (Lol SEKU SEKU O: !!!)
And went back to the hostel. At this point we had to stress because it was almost 7:00PM and the bus left at 7:30PM And...we had no idea how to get back. But the person at the desk helped us out and we were JUST in time to get onto the bus that'd go to the other station. When we got there...Our bus wasn't there. So we stressed even more. Turned out it had a delay of 30 minutes, and waited for another hour. Eventually we left aroun 9:00PM, back to the Netherlands. Along with 93893 Poland people. They snore and make really akward sounds. One woman got pissed at us and started muttering crap in a weird language. I talked back and she got even more pissed XD! Anyway, the ride back home was so much nicer, and actually managed to get some SLEEP too. So, we got back in Eindhoven around 5:00AM where my dad was waiting. But the stationhall was closed so [info]kuukiichan couldn't get on her train, drove to some other station where she'd have to wait even longer. So sad..I really hate the NS D:
Buuuuut. We all got back home safely, slept. And now I am preparing for work tomorrow. It'll be a drag especially after such a kick ass weekend. I want to thank everyone who'm I met, and spend time with. It was awesome and I really hope to see you guys soon ; A ;! (I really want to go back to Berlin in summer..BUT NOT BY BUS! D:)
