Aaron,

I missed your Seattle show. I just realized this last week when I saw a comment on myspace from someone in Seattle, begging you to come back soon.

Mostly, though, I'm inviting you to join tonystanza, the advanced poetry workshop I'm starting. I'm tagging about 30 livejournal poets, most of whom I tracked down through interest lists, and each of you can tag one other person to join if you choose, whether or not you want to join yourself. Just let me know the lj id of that person.

The idea is this is a workshop for skilled, serious, in-it-for-life kinds of poets: college grads who studied a lot of poetry and/or MFA candidates/graduates.

You should join. I'm figuring we'll all try to post a poem to workshop about once a month? But less often is fine, too. The details are on the profile page.

If you're down, you can go under your "Communities" tab to "Manage Your Invites" to accept the invitation. Or you can request to join in the profile.

No hard feelings if it's not for you,
Later, Sean

P.S. I just started reading this book I think you should read. Some of it reminds me of some of your stuff, but a little more self-conscious and self-mocking. It's called This Clumsy Living and it's by Bob Hicock.

This is exciting news for me. I will hope to buy a CD, as soon as the full length comes out.
