I think it does beg a simultaneous caution against being satisfied with mediocrity, or half-way--esp in cases where someone has made a goal and broken it down into smaller, more easily-achievable steps. They should celebrate and enjoy those achievements, deriving pleasure, without ignoring/forgetting that there are still more ahead... They should take that pleasure to help fuel their next phase not just stop there and call it "good enough", methinks.
