It is 7:15 p.m. and I'm about to take a shower. I'm still in the clothes I wore to bed last night. I watched Andrew fall asleep today. After I fed him, I laid beside him to watch. He hadn't slept for a while; I knew he was tired. To make him extra sleepy, I got this colorful bug thing for him to look at. He tracked it all over and around him for about five minutes. Buy some walnuts and candy them (very easy...you just spread them out over a pan, sprinkle lots of sugar over them and bake at 375 for about 7 minutes), some apples, grapes and vanilla yogurt. Jeff's parents just left. We had a good weekend. Jim is in his glory when he has projects to work on. He and Jeff were fools on Saturday! They got our lawn mower working, mowed the lawn, put down spouts on the gutters, leveled the air conditioner, hung up shelves and hooks in our garage, and trimmed a bunch of branches on our trees. Jeff left for this pastor's conference yesterday. He and two of his buddies drove a rental car up to Chicago and will stay on the Moody campus. I was feeling really really sad. Last night was the Kid's Choir Spring Musical that I directed. "Directed" is a strong word, b/c I really didn't do that much. I just showed up on Wed. nights to rehearse with 19 kids.
