Our trip to Illinois went really well. It was good weather to be there: mild temps and sunny skies for me and my boy and to hit the playground across from my brother-in-law's condo. We flew home to Georgia on Sunday. It's been a pretty good week back, even if I did bawl like a baby on Monday over my son's school woes (I had to pick him up early b/c

Thanks, you. I appreciate the mother's day wish. It has been a cute one so far, just b/c my little man doesn't exactly understand days of the week yet. So, his preschool had mother's day tea on Tuesday. My mom shopped with him yesterday for a deck chair to give me. Since he thought Mother's day was back on Tuesday, he was then confused why he had to wait until Sunday to surprise me with the chair. Thus, he gave me the chair today, lol. But it's all good! Smiles, laughter, hugs and kisses are the best gift he gives me, and I get those every day, lucky me. =)
