Brain shutdown

I've been stareing at my computer for something like 10 hours straight now trying to figure out a problem with the new version of our backup software. At the moment, the vendor is being less than helpful, they just don't seem to get the concept of "my backups haven't worked for 24 hours". hope you got them to respond to you. did you have to resort to "we're going to take our business elsewhere," tactic? was back-reving not an option? blech. dirty rotten scurvy bastards.
