We're in the final weeks of production for Madagascar, and as usual life is insane. I realized this morning that I've never written about my daily entertainment. You see, I start my morning with a train ride that's full of groups of private school students, mostly high school. This means that I get to watch all of those wonderful interactions between highschoolers; who's dating whom, which girls are saving seats for the cute guy ( Read more... )

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Alton Brown rocks! He was back in town Wed. night for another signing, and of course I couldn't pass it up! It gave me an excuse to buy his latest book, and of course I have to have it autographed so it fits in with the rest of the set ( Read more... )

We just had our (bad) champagne toast -- Shrek2 has been nominated for best animated feature! Surprisingly (at least to me) so has Shark Tale. Of course, The Incredibles took the other nomination, and they're going to be tough for us to beat. Still, we can hope ( Read more... )

Thanksgiving is over and I made it through. Admittedly, it helped that it wasn't spent with family this year. I decided to try something different this time around.
