I looked at him and saw his smile- so sweet. He held my hand and again I felt that electricity into my nerves. My heart starts beating fast, I guess this is love.
Ryeowook's POV
I stopped at the hallway near my office. I looked at my hands and recall what happened earlier. My heart still beating fast either because I ran away from the cafeteria or because of that guy. I picked the last one.
“Hey wookie! What happened to you? Why did you leave kyuhyun alone at the cafeteria? You should’ve wait for me.” My friend Sungmin startled me with his high pitch voice, I also saw him pout.
“Uhm. I got tummy ache” I lied, I don’t want him to ask anymore since I was already drowned in my emotions, the feelings that I don’t want to feel again, the feelings that I thought I will never feel again, the feelings that hurt me long ago.
“Oh! Are you okay by now?” Sungmin asked caringly while touching my tummy.
“I’m okay now, Thanks Minnie” I smiled to him ensuring that I’m already okay even though I really don’t experienced tummy ache. I lied to him, I’m bad, all because of that guy! Oh! Why I am thinking him again? Grrr.
“Wookie-ah? Uhm. Kyu is getting your number from me earlier, but I don’t give it to him.” Minnie said while looking at me, I can sense that he’s suspecting something.
“Oh” is all I can say.
“Wookie-ah, I know you’re still scared, scared by the feeling of losing someone you really love, I saw you, the things happened to you when he left you, you almost like a zombie that time because you don’t took care of yourself, you’re lucky that I’m here for you. Haha.”
I looked at him, the memories flashed back, all, the things happened to me exactly one year ago, when yesung, my ex-boyfriend left me.
“I know kyu is way better than yesung, he is way way better, I tell you. He’s gentleman even though he’s evil sometimes, if you just let yourself to know him.” He started to act serious.
“Want to know something?” he continued “I feel that he likes you, I will be very glad if you try to open yourself again to someone and forget all the pain. I know that you already moved on, and I know that you’re scared” I looked at him; my eyes were already wet from the tears that might flow anytime.
He held my hand, enveloped with his. “I’m here for you, I’m here for you always wookie-ah, I don’t want to sound so sure, but with Kyu, you will not feel that feeling anymore.” I smiled and hugged him, Minnie is always there for me, I’m so lucky to have him as my best friend.
“So what does that mean Wookie? Well. I take that as a yes right?” Minnie suddenly said still hugging me.
“Uhm~~” I tried to say something but he cut off.
“I don’t want to hear anything actually, I’m rude am I? but I just don’t want you to change your mind, hehe” he released his hug and eyed me, while me is pouting at him.
“Get ready later Wookie, Kyu will pick us up after work” He winked and left me there with my mouth hanged open.
