 Today during class we had to introduce ourselves so the professor and class can get a better idea/sense of one another.  This is what I told my class...

"Hi my name is Angela To. I graduated from DePauw University.   I couldn't find a job which is why I'm back at school. ha..ha..ha..."

No one laughed but me.

mass media and politics. we learn the role of media in politics and how it has evolved over the years. pretty interesting stuff.

here i'll save you some money.

1. media plays up what the government tells them to play up in order to distract everyone from actual shit. whatever the media reports has a sliver of truth in it but has a bigger secret agenda behind it.

2. it is regressive.

3. politicans lie so in that the media sees them one way so thus we see them one way, instead of us actually seeing who they are.

in essence, media sucks.

university of oklahoma. yeah my ONE class is 800 bucks. it's a mass media and politics class and that's not including the $200 in paying for the parking permit...state schools... they are a lot nicer though. they have leather cushioned chairs everywhere... hahaa
