Hey There! You don't know me... but I was looking around the figure skating world on Live Journal and found your journal. I love axels... do you? Good luck with your double salchows... they can be an absolute bugger, I know!

Hey, yeah I wish I would just NOT put the other foot down on my landing! Grr...LOL. Besides that though, I do like double sals. They're just so annoying sometimes LOL.
And axels: yes I do like axels. I hate that everyone losess their axels once in a while. I'm just glad I have it back--I didn't for like 2 or 3 weeks!
Thanks for the luck :-)
How long have you been skating?

By the way, I just realized that I mispelled CHEROKEE. I spelled it "Cherokke" LOL. Well, next time you look here, it will be spelled correctly because I am about to edit it LOL.

I've tried posting this reply twice already, I hope it doesn't just show up later a billion times. Oh and I hope it works this time haha.

Oh, I had the opposite problem... I would fall before I put my other foot down... my coach hated it because she said she would have rathered I two footed it! lol. I have been skating for 4 years now. I'm up to double lutz... I have landed quite a few. I hate double toes though! Axels are a pain when you lose them... I know because I had trouble with mine for a whole year... but it was also due to my own stress. What level are you in? I'm in Primary... but then I don't know if America do the levels different.

Where are you from?

Well, in ISI (Ice Skating Institute), I am at the Freestyle 5, 6, and 7 level. I'm doing things in all three LOL. I'm mostly 6 and 7 though.
In USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association) I'm testing Preliminary free skate next (that's the second level...I just started testing the free skates for USFSA). And I'm testing the Pre-Juvenile moves-in-the-field next (that's the 3rd level).
I've been skating for about 3 years and I'm working on double sal chows and double loops. I've landed my axel, but it has good days and bad days. My favorite days are the ones when I land every one :-P. But who doesn't love when that happens? LOL.
You're in ISA right? What does that stand for?
