I've been much more involved in RL ever since I got into college, to the point where LJ life doesn't really exist anymore.

Even though Facebook is totally gay.

I still use Facebook to contact people, but I've more or less moved my private life to LiveJournal both for pragmatic and ideological reasons.

I think, due to the limited amount of characters allowed for status updates, people have stopped posting anything substantial about their lives, so I never know what's up with folks. Kind of depressing.

Yeah, I understand. I'm thinking I'll use LJ just for when I have something long enough to type about. Either that or when I have something more personal that I would want FO on LJ. But recently I haven't been getting anything that I absolutely would HAVE TO type about or anything I'd want to share that's personal. I've been keeping personal stuff to myself nowadays and/or talking to people one-on-one about it.
