Liz, Welcome to the struggle of every Christian, missionary or regular church-goer living day to day. I think it is easy to wonder, am I doing enough to share the love of Christ? Here is something that should give you comfort, in the end, it really isn't your job. The Holy Spirit is the one who is going to change people's lives, not you. God just places you in certain situations to use you for His purpose, you may not ever even see the way He uses you to witness to others. This may take place in the mission field or walking to the grocery store. I have full confidence that God is using you in awesome ways that you can't even see. You labor is not in vain.
One more thing, people don't love you because you are a missionary, people love you because you are Liz.
