It could be that the game resolution setting is higher than that of your monitor is capable of. Say you set your game resolution to 1280x1040 or something, and your monitor can only support up 1080x1040 (not sure if the numbers are exact, but i hope you get it), then when you open up the program, your video driver will get a "No Input", a black screen.
Also, if the game is set to a refreshing rate higher than that of what your monitor is capable of, say the game is set to 90Hz and your monitor can only go up to 60Hz, then you will also get a black screen.
Try resetting the game to default settings somehow... a setup .exe or something... if you are desperate, try reinstalling the game - which should set everything back to default.
Then again, it could very well be that your video driver needs to be updated, or it just can't support the game at all.
Dude, you can totally see the millenium falcon pulling into the spaceport in Episode III. I bought it today and looked at it closely and yes, it is absolutely there.
