Took Kale to the vet today, and yep: broken foot!

poor guy. now has 2-4 weeks of rest and recovery. of course, explaining that to him didn't work and he wants to rassle with his sister, even on 3 legs. silly dog.

we have no idea. we came home on Sunday and he wouldnt put weight on it and then it got swollen yesterday.

He does love to run around like crazy and rassle with his sister so...

OK, that is about the saddest sad-dog face I've seen in a LONG time. That breaks my heart way more than he broke his foot, though the x-ray is impressive in a really "oh shit" kind of way. So very sorry for poor Kale! Tell him Remy, Tino and Ivy say, "Bummer, dude!" and send extras of his favorite dog treats.
