Strong an effect as it had on me, I was taken with dragons long before the premiere of that movie. Heck, in a grade school production of "The Hobbit", I wanted the role of Smaug so bad... but got cast as a troll, for the likely reason, I lamented, that my audition for Smaug wasn't "evil" enough.

While I can make no claims as to how a genuine dragon would spend his or her time, I have observed that for the majority of spiritually inclined draconics I've met, (myself included) sex plays an essential role in that identity.. if it's fantasy, then at least it's founded within very real desires. In every honesty, I don't draw porn to satisfy anyone else's agenda.
I do it for me. Because I want to.
Nor is it ever intended in the slightest disrespect. Quite the contrary. I regard such works as a sort of celebration of their strength and beauty, which is never limited to, but most certainly includes, their very tantalizing eroticism.

Many humans seem to have this polarizing mechanism, whereupon they either respect someone or reduce them to a ( ... )

Hmmmm...
You bring up a good point, regarding unbalanced treatment exhibited in the gallery.

Spiritual guidance pertaining to draconity has been centrally important in my recent life. It's something upon which I have dwelt passionately and excessively, often to the neglect of my earthly duties.
But when I address these topics, I typically do so through writing, (of which little winds up in this journal) or in live conversation. If you get me on the telephone I tend to be very philosophical.

Drawings, on the other hand, have a more blunt and immediate literal power to them, ideal for crafting fap material but not so conducive to describing abstract concepts. So.... I suppose the medium is chosen based on the nature of what is wanting to be expressed.

You go to a restaurant when you're hungry. You go to a doctor when you're ill.
I draw when I'm horny... but I talk when spiritually awake ( ... )
