Putting up this post here so that people can place ideas of what they would like to see in the community, things they have in mind for their characters, questions, and just to chat and get to know each other. So really, just do whatever you want here xD Even if you are still waffling on whether you want to join or not, or if you plan to just stalk

Question 1

Given the reserves that we have so far we will definitely need an option that includes the Homestuck characters and brings them to the forefront. We currently have 13 reserves, 8 of which are HS so selecting one of the options in which they would act more as NPCs wouldn't be fair. Therefore right now I think option three is looking the best. As a reminder option three is:

Or we could AU the whole thing and keep them all in one universe. This would probably be a lot easier? IDK. In this case we can just separate the characters into some teams at first like the Trolls did.

If we could with this option we'll need to make a world in which both trolls and humans exist which could be fun. I know we also have the possibility of another non-human character. What do you guys think?

I think it would be an interesting mix! It could be some sort of offshoot of a session that came to fruition, something that mixed all sorts of different races together. Which would be perfect for the kids (and the older kids, like my MC haha) and the trolls. As well as Moomin!

It'd be really fun! And man my head is going all over the place in whole a world like that would be while another part of me is saying not to think so much on that since it's going to be blown up anyway xD

Still it's important since it'll obviously dictate a lot about how the characters will change in that sort of setting. So if everyone is okay with this option start tossing out your ideas how a planet like this would be!

There's an enormous force shield over the Americas and all humans live there. FLARPing is outlawed in the human communities. Trolls have the run of the rest of the planet.

I might be off the mark on this, correct me if I am, but each session needs to be completed in 24 hours, right? If that's the case would you guys like to expand it? If so to how long?

You mean sessions of sburb/sgrub? The troll campaign took a month, and according to Karkat that was basically a perfect session. The human game is royally fucked from the get-go; 24 hours is a freakishly short amount of time for it.

And I suppose I should just introduce myself too. Pardon the inevitable typos I will make but my keyboard is acting weird right now. Not that I don't make a crap top of typos anyway but....YES. AHEM.

My name is Emely. Those of you who know me probably do so from soul_campaign where I was a former mod and play Rise, Winry, and Mulan. I actually Stumble Uponed (a firefox add-on) Homestuck a long while back but I didn't get very far before I continued my aimless stumbling xD I gave it a second try when I heard other people talking about it on my plurk but still wasn't able to. It was only when I began to see how awesome some of the characters over at SC were that I finally gave it a third try that I was able to get past the tedious beginning and I am so glad I did.

Hummm. I'm into a lot of other fandoms, the primary ones being Fullmetal Alchemist, the Mother/Earthbound series, Dennou Coil and...well the list could go on and on really. But! I'm really excited about the interest and all of you are free to friend me on plurk

Hello I am Man-D and I play everywhere.

Um, what that really means is I play at soul_campaign (Jade, Adah, and Sandry), trans_9 (older!Sandry) and vatheon (Feferi) with a reserve up at Mayfield for Jade. See? Everywhere. I used to be a mod at sortinghat, which I guess is kind of relevant for planning purposes. I am no stranger to AU games. xD

I learned about Homestuck through DOC who is FABULOUS. That's really all there is to say on the matter.

Though for QUESTIONS. If we *are* going to make this a complete AU, then...are we going to make it reminiscent of Homestuck, in which the characters played are trapped in a failed session, or will they actually complete the session to fruition?

Also, I'd like to say that making it an AU allows for a lot of creativity when it comes to worlds/titles/denziens/etc. Which I really like. ♥

Yea I'm a pretty huge fan of AUs myself. Have been ever since my long run over at theskytides which was my first serious game. I had been at fandangohigh before that which was my first but that was a pure crack game. Which is fine but I just love plotting, character development and boy. The Sky Tides gave me that in spades, and it's great to think about how characters might be different in different situations.

As for a failed session, since we have Jade who might still have Bec (that's entirely up to you, or someone else can have some sorta crazy pet) it's entirely possible to still make it a failed session. I would kind of be interested in doing that myself to see how they are all effected by it.

Another thought occurred to me.

The musebox is intended to be used for different sessions. Obviously they don't need to be connected or anything, and we can only have like one or two at most going on at one time to avoid confusion (even with the use of tags it would get cluttered) but we can always have the second session be the one that screws up once we complete this one. That way they can eventually combine and be one and we can work from there.
